Feanor OÜ on osalev erinevate suurustega F tüüpi freeside väljatöötamises ja varustamises, mida Shanghai Electric (Hiina) kasutab tuumaenergia seadmete tootmises. F Freese hakatakse kasutama olemasolevate Ingersoll masinate terade tootmises. Teine katse tehakse ka Shanghai electricu valmistatud freesmasinatel. Disain peab olema lõpetatud enne oktoobrit ja katsetamine enne 2010 lõppu

Eesti tööriista disaini firma pakub lõikeriistad Hiina lennukitööstuse firma

Feanor OÜ on edukalt katsetanud solid carbide (HM) joodetud freesimine läbilõikamist koos 40°helixiga, ilma katteta ja uue Zirc kattega, valmistab Aluminim sulameid kasutamiseks lennutehnikas.
See lõikeriist on konkureerinud teiste tootjatega Saksamaalt, Iisraelist ja Jaapanist ning seda kasutatakse Hiina suurima lennukite tootja Liming mootorites.
Samuti spetsiaalne juhitud karbiid frees on efektiivne kiire titaanisulamist komponentide tootmises.
Hiina arendab oma turboshaft mootoreid J-11 hävitaja jaoks ja uue 5. põlvkonna J-XX Stealth hävitaja (4. põlvkonna vastavalt hiina määratlusele) jaoks, mis algselt põhines vene disainil.

Estonian special tools in China nuclear equipment manufacturer

Feanor OU has been granted participation to a tender for development and supply of F type cutters for manufacturing of nuclear power generation equipment by Shanghai Electric (China). F Cutters will be used for blade manufacturing on existing Ingersoll machines. Design is planned to start in the next weeks and testing will be held in Shanghai in October 2010.

An Estonian company provides cutting tools for Chinese aircraft manufacturing company

Feanor OU successfully tested HM brazed milling cutters with 40° helix, without coating and with a new Zirc coating, in manufacturing of Aluminium alloys for aerospace.
This cutter has been competing against other manufacturers from Germany, Israel and Japan and will be used in the largest Chinese manufacturer of military aircraft engines.
Also a special guided reamer in solid carbide has been found effective in manufacturing high speed Titanium alloy components and testing will be completed within one month.

Feanor OÜ has been awarded Gold Medal Prize from Ministry of Production - Russian Federation, for its activity and in design and development of special cutting tools.
